Waltham, MA – Convergent Dental, the power behind the Solea® All-Tissue Dental Laser, announced record participation at Solea Summit 2026, reflecting growing interest in innovative technologies and treatment approaches that are reshaping the dental experience for patients and providers alike.

Held in Scottsdale, Arizona, the three-day event welcomed nearly 750 dental professionals from across the U.S. and Canada, a nearly 20% increase over 2025 and the fourth consecutive year of record attendance. The record turnout underscores the growing momentum behind all-tissue laser dentistry and the continued expansion and engagement
of the Solea community.

"Record attendance is exciting, but what matters most is what it represents: a growing community of dentists who are rethinking what's possible for their patients and practices," said Robert L. Gershon, CEO of Convergent Dental. "From doctors discovering Solea for the first time to experienced users finding new ways to expand its impact, we're seeing a shared commitment to making dental care more efficient, less invasive and more patient-centered. Solea Summit is where that momentum comes to life."

Advancing the Next Generation of Dental Care

As dental professionals look for new ways to improve patient experiences, expand treatment capabilities and build more efficient practices, Solea Summit 2026 delivered its most comprehensive educational program to date.

Attendees had access to a record 62 courses spanning hands-on clinical training, practice growth and emerging approaches to patient care. Sessions explored how dentists are using Solea to advance minimally invasive treatment, create opportunities for same-day care, and integrate laser technology into digital and restorative workflows.

New this year, the Spotlight Series expanded the conversation beyond clinical applications to address the broader forces shaping modern dentistry, from evolving patient expectations and practice leadership to emerging research and technology-driven innovation.

The event also brought together a growing network of industry partners, with exhibitor participation increasing 57% year over year, further reflecting the expanding ecosystem supporting Solea practices.

"This was my first Solea Summit. It was great and worth the time and travel," said Dennis Nguyen, DDS, FAGD of Cape Girardeau Dentistry in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. "The community was eye-opening. I was impressed with the speakers, staff, and community. Looking forward to next year's Solea Summit!"

As the only CO2 laser cleared by the FDA for all-tissue indications, Solea enables dentists to perform a broad range of hard- and soft-tissue procedures, supporting minimally invasive treatment approaches, greater clinical efficiency and an enhanced patient experience.
