Regional Sales Manager – South West


Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager has responsibility for all new product sales in territory to be defined on the South West. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with a history of success in selling durable dental, or medical device capital equipment, preferably for an early stage company.

Primary Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed sales objectives by:

  • Leveraging your personal network of dentists from past selling experiences
  • Generating new prospects through personal contacts, referrals and company marketing programs
  • Developing a detailed understanding of the company’s products and underlying technologies
  • Delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Tracking and reporting on sales activities
  • Managing multiple prospects through various stages of the sales cycle simultaneously
  • Communicating insights gained through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Coordinating other company resources as needed throughout sales process

Key Skills:

  • Selling and demonstrating high ticket, durable equipment in the dental or medical device market
  • The ability to prioritize, organize and operate in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent analytical, collaborative, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional discipline and self-motivation

Experience and Education:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of dental or medical device sales experience. Other attributes include:

  • Position requires significant travel

Position Location:

Territory: South West (Most likely will include Southern CA, AZ, NV, UT, CO) Based near San Diego, CA or other major city Southern California.
