Human Resource Manager

Position Summary:

Convergent Dental has launched Solea, a unique laser-based system that allows dentists to work without drills, needles, scalpels or pain for the majority of dental procedures. Convergent Dental is now one of the fastest growing businesses in the US. We have an excellent job opportunity for an individual with a strong background in Human Resources. In this hands-on position, we are looking for the individual to manage all aspects of the human resource function, from benefits administration to employee relations, as well as working closely with hiring managers to recruit, attract and maintain top talent. Primary Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Trusted HR business partner to all individual contributors, managers and executives
  • Effectively manage all employee relations
  • Understand and promote Convergent Dental culture and values
  • Implement and update HR systems and processes
  • Coordinate employee orientation, onboarding, development and training
  • Maintain employee handbook and policy development/documentation
  • Coordinate benefits administration
  • Involvement with staff development and performance reviews
  • Involvement with employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of Company events


  • Research and execute recruiting strategies for hiring managers
  • Work directly with hiring managers to determine the requirements of each opportunity and the leadership, competencies and personal characteristics of the ideal candidate
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create and post job descriptions
  • Coordinate and organize all aspects of the recruiting process
  • Recruit and access top talent by sourcing, interviewing and reference checking
  • Attend and coordinate career fairs and workshops

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5+ years of related experience
  • Strategic and tactical mindset
  • Experience with recruiting, benefits administration and other human resource programs
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Strong understanding of state and federal employment law
  • Articulate, effective communicator; inspires and energizes
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and coaching skills
  • Success in creating and driving effective employee relations, retention and reward programs
  • Positive attitude and the passion for creating a positive, empowered work environment
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Absolute personal integrity and credibility
  • Bachelor of Science in Business or equivalent degree
