Primary Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

Trusted HR business partner to all individual contributors, managers and executives
Effectively manage all employee relations

Field Service Manager – West

Position Summary:

Complete in a timely manner standard equipment documentation and reports, including service reports, installation records and other documents necessary for a FDA approved device.
Provides customers with timely and accurate technical information in a positive and straight forward manner.
Manages inspection of devices, tests equipment periodically and ensures test equipment calibration schedule within specified standards.
Provide training to dental office staff on the set up and maintenance of the dental laser.

Sr. Biomedical Engineer

Job description

A hands-on biomedical engineer to research tissue interaction with an innovative laser dental device. The individual must thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and is motivated by the opportunity to work on several aspects of optical, chemical and biological interactions, take on interesting challenges and learn new technologies.

Areas of Responsibility

Apply sound engineering principles and practices to the design and testing of a laser device and beam delivery system.
Design and conduct experiments (in vitro) and tests to fully evaluate device prototypes and develop improvements that lead to commercially viable products.
Develop and execute test plans, write protocols, analyze and present results, make recommendations, and write reports applying statistics as necessary.
Develop and implement design elements for medical laser devices, for example, focusing elements, pulsing patterns, laser parameter designation.
Collaborate to drive the design of prototypes and plan for bench evaluation on extracted teeth of new design attributes and product concepts (Matlab, Labview, SolidWorks CAD software) .
Work with and provide oversight to suppliers on the design and procurement of components, tooling and fixtures for the design, testing, inspection or assembly of products.
Stay abreast with latest relevant technology through literature, seminars, conferences, academia and industry.
Participate in project teams.

Staff Accountant

Position Summary:

Convergent Dental is now one of the fastest growing businesses in the US. The Staff Accountant fulfills an integral transactional and reporting function in the Finance department. This position touches all aspects of accounting including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, month and year end closes, general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and sales support. We are looking for a hands-on, highly motivated and driven individual that has the ability to work independently. Primary Responsibilities:

Support the month-end close, including booking journal entries and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare financial statement analyses which may include comparisons to forecasted results and trended results
Facilitate the recording and processing of customer orders
Invoice customers and/or distributors as goods are shipped or services are provided
Follow up with customers and distributors as needed to ensure payments are received on a timely basis

Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

Reports to: VP of Marketing

Job Description:

The Marketing Manager will serve as a key member of the marketing team, supporting the messaging, positioning, market research, demand generation, product launch and sales enablement for both our direct and indirect channels. Product Launch Strategy

Develop and implement product launch strategy, including analyzing market research and sales analytics, ideating messaging, developing sales tools, and creating best in class marketing initiatives to drive sales

Management of Client Portal

Monitor, manage, and improve online customer portal (Salesforce community)

Channel & Partner Support

eLearning Developer

Position Summary:

Convergent Dental has launched Solea, a unique laser-based system that allows dentists to work without drills, needles, scalpels or pain for the majority of dental procedures. Convergent Dental is now one of the fastest growing businesses in the US. We are looking for an eLearning Developer with Captivate and Storyline expertise to deliver world class training modules on our Litmos platform. This is an exciting and challenging position that fills a critical need and contributes significantly toward the company’s success.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with SMEs or independently to assess learner needs and write outcomes-based courses that deliver continuing education credits for dental professionals.
Define role-differentiated pathways for learning and map them out within and between courses.
Re-conceptualize in-person professional development elements for online delivery as learning objects or experiences.
Write storyboards and scripts; produce tutorials using eLearning software (Articulate, Storyline, etc.).
Work with graphic/media designers to bring story elements and concepts to life visually.
Work with video producer to plan production and post-production of authentic classroom videos.
Design and develop creative learner-centered, performance-based training programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities including synchronous remote learning methodologies, blended classroom learning, interactive e-learning modules, videos, device learning labs, job aides, facilitator guides, and auxiliary practice, review and resource materials.
Manage training content/updates residing on Omnify content management system.
Upload, test and maintain content to an LMS

Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of storyboards and wireframes that contain programming notes and interactive direction
Knowledge of graphic design elements appropriate for online instruction
Thorough knowledge of design tools such as storyboards, flow charts, scripting and ability to create technical authoring and delivery tools (Storyline) to be placed on client LMS
Understanding and proven ability to develop these learning tools using acceptable methodologies, current practices and proven ability to develop closed captioning, interactive activities and advanced interactions
Ability to integrate graphics, text and voice-over into the final courses
Maintain design templates and guidelines, including processes, standards, styles and preferred models for course elements.
Bachelor’s degree in eLearning, Instructional Design, or a related field and/or eLearning Technical Certifications from certified institutions. Relevant experience can be taken into consideration.
