Position Summary:

The Sales Manager has responsibility for all new product sales in the territory covering the greater Kansas City or St. Louis areas.  The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with a history of success in selling durable dental, or medical device capital equipment, preferably for an early stage company.

Primary Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed sales objectives by:

Leveraging your personal network of dentists from past selling experiences
Generating new prospects through personal contacts, referrals and company marketing programs
Developing a detailed understanding of the company’s products and underlying technologies
Delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations
Tracking and reporting on sales activities
Managing multiple prospects through various stages of the sales cycle simultaneously
Communicating insights gained through field activity to appropriate company staff
Coordinating other company resources as needed throughout sales process

Field Service Technician – North West

Position Summary:

Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of equipment both in-house and at customer sites
Carry out technical assignments to install, modify, and repair our laser based Dental Systems
Analyze and repair mechanical, electrical, and software failures.
Complete in a timely manner, standard equipment documentation and reports to include service reports, installation records, etc.
Provides customers with timely and accurate technical information in a positive and straight forward manner.
Disassembles malfunctioning dental devices, troubleshoots and uses standardized testing procedures; examines and tests mechanisms for defects.
Replaces or repairs defective parts; may require modification or replacement components.
Reassembles dental devices or equipment and tests assembly for conformance to specifications.
Inspects devices and tests equipment periodically and adjusts calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards.
Determines correct spare parts required to complete a repair
Maintain an inventory of prototyping materials, including electrical, mechanical, and optical components as required.
Provide training to dental office staff on the set up and maintenance of the dental laser.

Inside Sales Manager

Position Objectives:

The successful candidate will work closely with representatives on the outside sales team to identify and develop new sales opportunities.  The Inside Sales Manager will conduct research within the assigned territory to identify likely potential buyers of Solea, an all-tissue dental laser that is the company’s flagship product.    Research will be conducted via the internet, telephone and other sources to create a target list of dentists to be contacted via direct mail, telephone and other means in order to initiate a sales process with the outside sales representative.  The successful individual will possess the drive and determination to work through tens or even hundreds of objections and rejections in order to find high-probability prospects that are willing to have an initial discussion with a Convergent Dental outside sales manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Proactively penetrate untapped market to hunt out prospects for new business.
Self-motivated, outside-the-box thinker
Conducts internet research, telephone and mail marketing to identify, develop and qualify customer/ prospect lists
Sell additional warranty/service agreements to current customers that are no longer on a service plan
Maintains all interactions in SalesForce database for prospects in the territory
Responds to incoming calls from prospects as needed to set phone, WebEx and/or in-person meetings for the outside sales manager
Coordinate with other Inside Sales Managers who are located remotely to help connect them with the different departments and resources at corporate

Minimum Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of inside sales experience

Product Support Representative – Clinical Specialist

Position Summary:

Convergent Dental has developed and launched Solea, a dental laser that cuts everything in the oral cavity virtually anesthesia-free.  Less than two years after its introduction, Solea has become the #1 hard and soft tissue laser in dentistry and we are looking for a Product Support Representative who can assist customers with everything from user support to training to technical problem diagnosis and resolution.  This is an exciting and challenging position that fills a critical need and contributes significantly toward the company’s success.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide first line for support for Convergent Dental customers, including dentists and dental assistants.
Diagnose issues reported by Convergent Dental customers.
Install, configure and run Convergent Dental diagnostic software remotely to resolve problems.
Coordinate with field support technicians as needed to resolve customer issues.
Follow up with customers to ensure problems are resolved to their satisfaction.
Organize training for clients by coordinating customer and trainer schedules.
Preform training at client sites covering:

Solea setup, maintenance and cleaning protocols for dentists, assistants and office staff
Workflow analysis to ensure accessories are ready when needed
System error message and resolutions
Hard tissue analgesia and preparations with Solea
Workflow to achieve highest return on investment
Solea ergonomics

Dentist hand positioning
Hand piece positioning
Solea placement in operatory
Friction lock settings
Counterweight

Reinforce training to dental office staff on the set up and maintenance of the Solea laser.
Develop a strong working knowledge of all Convergent Dental products and the methodology utilized to effect field installations and repairs.
Document all interactions in the CRM system to ensure quality requirements are met and accurate records are maintained.
Escalate issues to management as required.

Background in computer troubleshooting is a major plus.
Window and MS Office Suite experience required. com experience is a plus.
Experience in Dental or Medical practices reliant on advance technologies a plus.
